Friday Night Leftovers 11-20

  • Guess I have to catch up on my blogging as my last post was about this time last week.
  • Still not sure what to think with the upcoming holidays (but then again by this time next week I'll have a much better clue..........stay tuned hahaha............)
  • The girls are becoming interested in the cat at an exponential rate. And hubby wants to get another one in the somewhat near future?
  • I'm still on the fence as to whether elaborate musical holiday decorations are cheesy or a lot of fun. Hubby wants to add to his outdoor "lights up" reindeer collection. Hmmm.......not sure on that one.
  • Haven't slept more than 2-3 hours the past two nights. That's just annoying. Especially when the girls, the cat, the hubby - everyone seems to not have that problem but me.
  • It must be that time of year as people have started to ask what I might want for Christmas. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that "babies who take longer naps" just didn't make it onto the sale flyer for Target, just a hunch. Fine, new flat iron for the hair it is.

  1. About sleep - the old version of Actifed (can be obtained at Walgreens "behind the counter" as "Wal-Act" or Schnucks has it, too) is great for colds, allergies, and occasionally for a good night's sleep. It has Sudafed and Triprolidine HCl. Good stuff!

  2. I ♥ Unisom for my sleep issues. There is nothing worse than lying awake listening to everyone else sleep!

My husband came home from Home Depot several weeks ago with an inflatable Santa flying an airplane . . . I'll be the one on the roof with a pair of scissors 'helping' put it up.

  3. Thanks for joining me, I'm so excited!
We haven't gotten to the inflatables, moving, singing decorations, but I'm sure that if given the chance, my husband would jump on it.
I've got nothing for the sleeping... I'm right there with you. Hope you get some good sleep soon :)

  5. I live in the middle of nowhere, so it would be pretty much pointless to have any sort of yard decorations. I'm sure my kids would like them, but I am fine with decorating just the inside of the house. I hope that Santa, or maybe the Thanksgiving turkey, brings you some more sleep. I sometimes have a problem of not sleeping well, but right now, at 19 weeks pregnant, it is not a problem for me. My husband hates cats, but my older daughter wanted one, so we got her one of those "almost like real life" cats. It purrs and meows, and moves. It sometimes freaks me out, but she loves it, so oh well.

  6. I think decorations are both cheesy and fun. I love it! This year, I won't be putting up any decorations but enjoying my parents' even cheesier decorations. They have the blow up items and all (even in the middle of no where).

Xmas just isn't going to be the same for me this year.
