This and that..........

Ok if there are a lot of misspellings in this, somehow in reformatting my laptop, the keyboard is not working very well. Got to love electronics somtimes (Seems to be more in IE versus Mozilla, so we'll see.)

A bit cranky so far for the week, and yes it's only Monday. Tired and a lot going on. Really wishing on that not in the plans vacation or winning the lottery. Oh well............ Besides not going grocery shopping this weekend (bad idea....we have a very sad looking fridge and pantry right now) we did manage to get a few things accomplished - a huge amount of baby food made and the wood frame for the hearth is done so we're at least starting to baby-proof the house. That's including the fact that both hubby and I felt very under the weather Sunday - not sure if our dinner Saturday night had a bug/ spoiled (was a new recipe so who knows) or what but Sunday was pretty "just get through it."

Despite the time constraint, I'm glad so far the babyfood making is happening. We made the squash-apple combo and the fresh version tastes about 100x better than the jarred one. Not sure if the girls care but we'll still try.

Again maybe when we have money to burn we'll test to see if they're identical. (Although if you see the one pic below, pretty amusing.) Very much a non-issue besides curiosity unless a medical reason comes around. It's become very apparent that Audrey is the mobile one while Allie is the vocal one. Allie is constantly chatting and while she has rolled both ways I guess just to show us she can, is very happy in one spot. Audrey, while not so vocal, is rolling or moving around the minute you put her down. Not crawling yet but with a series of planned out rolls and spins, she can get to wherever she wants. As in, if Allie has a toy of interest, Audrey will find a way to roll over and get it. She also managed once so far to slide herself out of the bumbo. Guess she was done with bumbo time.

A few random pics.

Here's the curious pic. They were just sitting in the little bumbo seats so I got the camera out - and they both decided to "strike a pose." Not sure where the "see the camera, tilt your head" notion came from but oh well.

  1. I hear you on the being tired on Monday situation. I think we won't feel refreshed for a long time to come. The girls are really growing up fast. I can't wait to hear how all the baby food is coming along. Great pics!

  3. You should check and see if insurance will cover the test - it might, since it is medical/diagnostic! Very cute pics. - Tkeys

  4. SUPER cute pictures! Is there any such thing as "not worried about money"? I've heard of this myth before, but I've yet to actually discover it. Let me know about that lottery thing ;o)
