- Okay, I swear to have a "great" interesting post sometime before the weekend is over. Good thing I do the leftovers or I may never post some weeks. Just not feeling expressive I guess? Or not wanting to rant and rave about all the stuff driving me crazy again as of late.
- Allie seems to think pro-wrestling is in her future. Lately if Audrey has something Allie wants, Allie will literally just push or pull Audrey to the floor and snatch it away. Of course this doesn't sit well with Audrey who starts to get mad. We tell Allie "no, you can't do that" and she gets mad. So two mad babies at once - fun times! Sibling rivalry starts early no?
- Who do I have to pay or bribe to get one nice day to melt all the snow? Prefer somewhat cloudy though since on the bright sunny days, the girls hate the car rides. We bought sunshades that really don't do anything but look cute. Hubby is using this as an excuse to get at least one of the cars tinted (something he's wanted to do for awhile) Not sure on that - I like my visibility, but then again, not a fan of two screaming babies in the backseat.
- Possibly have a person of interest for baby-sitting thanks to another twin mom in the area. So perhaps hubby and I can have a night out without always tying up my family (my mom watches the girls a lot during the workdays) And always good to have a backup who lives close, since we are a bit out of the way.
- Speaking of which, apparently sitting on the couch for 4 months or so during the pregnancy has left me with crazy cabin fever - I really can't stand to be stuck in the house all day. Not good for the budget to go out all the time, nor, like today with having the girls, is it the easiest thing in the world - it's cold, closest place I could use to go to is a good 15-20 minutes away, and so on. I like we have some space and aren't in a crowded area, but sometimes it'd be nice to have a few things closer.
- Next week we enter into their last month before the big one-year birthday. Guess it's really time to get on the party planning. Hubby swears he (we?) can get the basement at least cleaned up / organized and put a bathroom in before then. Hmm time to place bets on that one. We have to wait to make sure there aren't more water issues before we actually finish the basement. (Again why I use "we" I don't know - like I'm going to have much say in any of that)

At our house, any basement renos have taken twice as long and 3 times as expensive as we thought! Hope the same is not the case for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on having a nice day to melt some of this snow. It was beautiful, but now all the brown and black stuff can go!
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit it, but I love planning birthday parties. Can't wait to see the pictures!
Nothing like a party to motivate! Hope all goes well.
ReplyDeleteYAY for a potential babysitter! I hope that works out for ya! Same with the basement renovations.

Our sons first birthday is what it took to get the last minute projects whipped into shape. Good Luck!
