Yup, thrilled at the prospect of watching baseball all afternoon isn't she?
Last bottle of the day: Pick the baby time
Hubby and I trade off but you can either take
Allie- screams when she has to burp (both because you, evil parent you are, took her bottle away and also she hates anything digestive going on. She will through a fit but finally when done and has worn herself out, falls asleep quickly.
Audrey - takes her bottle pleasantly but usually is awake afterwards and needs 30 minutes or so of rocking to fall asleep.
So you either deal with an earful and have a sleeping baby instantly after or you get a calm not quite ready for bed.
Murphy's law: Despite no set time being mentioned, the bug man will come and ring the doorbell the minute both girls are taking their naps, which promptly results in Allie waking up.
Thursdays I work - so apparently yesterday hubby spent some time teaching Audrey very valuable life lessons. Or rather, how to stick out your tongue
(She's learning)

Can't find it in stores, so I will have to buy the "D" battery charger online. Figured as almost all the "baby stuff" takes D size, it's worth it. Although tonight I'm going to get some cheapo-brand D batteries to verify that their fish mobile is broken. The batteries I just put in may have been used but I'm pretty sure they were new. But no problem as my aunt and uncle bought the little service plan (go figure - you'd think those are a waste of money but this time it pays off - yay!)
I always thought about getting one of those chargers, but haven't. We stock up on batteries at Sams and we seem to go through more AA's than anything. E's crib light mobile takes 4 c/d batteries and as soon as that thing spazzes we get new ones. We should have bought the charger for those, as they seem to be the ones we change the most.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, our girls love to be swaddled when they take their naps. As they get older the don't need to be bundled up as much but now and then they still love it even though it is 115 degrees outside. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteLOLOL@ Audrey sticking her tongue out.... I taught the same to my niece...that and funny sounds! :-)
